Every year it seems that society is taking a giant
collective step towards new fashion trends. This is because more and more
people are transcending, accepting who they want to be, and abandoning social
norms. These people are critical to promoting fashion for years to come,
especially when one of those years is plagued by a pandemic. 2024 has been a
year of amendment for many, including the fashion industry. We hope you enjoyed
this Summer Rewind post - a look at this year's swimwear trends.
In spite of
everything, people continued to buy because purchases are necessary; It is a
stress reliever and something that can become a bright spot in the dark. This
summer, with more people shopping online than ever before, boutique swimwear
was in high demand. Shoppers were leaning towards more exclusive designs to
express their individuality as they mostly communicated via social media. These
are some of the other trends we've seen.
BACK FOR SUMMER: SEE THIS YEAR'S SWIMWEAR TRENDS
The tassels are back A fascinating trend has emerged in
swimwear this year that perhaps no other piece of clothing has had. Brushes!
Hilor has created an incredibly flattering high-waisted bikini line with
adorable tassels. Triangle top and matching bottoms are available in a variety
of designs, including floral, striped, polka dot, solid and others. They've had
great success on Amazon thanks to the praise of countless Instagram
influencers.
HIGH-RISE
SWIMSUITS, FIT AND SHAPE
High-waisted bikinis have been around for a long time but
were never considered sexy. It's until 2024 and the style of swimwear will
change. High-waisted swimsuits are incredibly flattering now because they no
longer hide your body under a jacket. High-waisted swimwear is designed to give
women extra support and a little more cover in areas where they don't want to
draw attention. The bottom of the leotard is then trimmed to highlight other
areas such as the buttocks and legs.
NEON, NEON AND NEON
Recently, neon has become a big trend in all areas of
fashion. There was a huge boost to the 1980s neon revival, and while it doesn't
work with all garments, it definitely does work with swimwear. That's because
vibrant shimmery yellows, pinks, and blues pair well with sun-kissed summer
skin. Neon is also good because it is so bright and cheerful, it perfectly
complements the whole summer atmosphere. Neon is also used by those who dare to
dare. This is definitely a swimsuit that will set you apart from the crowd.
SMALL sequins
Sequins are another item that has made a comeback from
another decade. This time they are located on the top and bottom of the
swimsuit bottoms. This is because sequins are fun, sexy, and a little offbeat.
More and more people are gravitating towards something with a little glitter
because they want to stand out - this is a fun swimwear style trend. This
swimsuit is perfect for a party, date and takes great pictures.
NET SEGMENTS - PATH
Solid clothing is back again and has undergone significant
changes. They no longer cover the entire human body. Now they're made to be as
sexy as any two-piece swimsuit on the market. One of the ways designers have
come up with how to do this is with mesh swimwear. The leotard material on the
thighs, collarbones and abdomen can be cut and replaced with mesh to create a
sexy illusion. Mesh swimwear is usually black, but the popularity of neon mesh
has skyrocketed lately. Ultimately, mesh swimwear is popular because it is a
way to show off a little skin while still providing support and modesty.
COVID AND NEW TRENDS IN SWIMSUITS
Swimwear has reached new heights this year, in part due
to COVID-19. People were encouraged to spend as much time outdoors as possible,
and since it was summer, it was natural that they wanted to rest or swim.
It was also a year for people who were determined about
their fashion choices as they weren't among the people to potentially judge.
People were able to test the water and see how the new styles and trends fit
their bodies. It was a moment that greatly influenced people's self-esteem,
because for the first time they were actually able to use what made them happy.
